Mom's Day Celebration

On Thursday, Davis had Mom's Day Celebration at Preschool.

They sang some super cute songs and as always he melted my heart!

On the way to school on Tuesday, he asked me to come and kiss him during lunch time! Why of course, I will! That afternoon, we went and officially registered him for Kindergarten...he was okay until he asked me if I would still be able to kiss him at lunch every day, I had to tell him that wouldn't happen & he declared he would rather not go! Love my sweet snuggle bug!

Last day of Preschool & Picnic Pictures...Very Thankful!

I am thankful for Davis' wonderful teachers. They have loved him and taught him so much!

Thankful for His plan, because although Davis' name wasn't drawn to attend the school system Pre K program, neither were 2 of his best friends, so they will get to share another special year together at Preschool where I know they will learn, but most importantly learn about God's love for them!

Almost Three

Dear Davis,
Where have the past 3 years gone?? It seems like they have just gone by way too fast...you are something special & you literally melt my heart!! Your new favorite things are your race cars from the Cars movie, which has really put a damper on my shopping at Target, because you always want to look at the cars & not that they are much money, I am trying to teach you that we can't get something EVERY time we go to a store. (b/c I DO know one day your requests will be pricey) We are working really hard on potty training...you are doing much better than I anticipated, but still have a long way to go. I think the high light of potty training has been your new lighning mcqueen underwear!!! You are doing so much better on eating (thank goodness, we are expanding our yogurt & applesauce), you are trying new things each day, this weekend you fell in love with pasta salad!! You love to play outside & could spend your whole day out there!! You also love to swim and play in the water, which is my kind of boy, b/c mommy loves to be near water, too!!! I love you more and more each day, your sweet smile warms my heart!! It makes me so happy to hear you ask me to rock you, I wish it would never end! Slow down sweet boy!!!
