Saturday morning, Daddy and the kids carved their pumpkins! Last weekend, the kids picked out 2 small pumpkins at the pumpkin patch and they each decided what they wanted on their pumpkins. On Friday night, we went to the AU School of Architecture pumpkin carving contest....so, they took lots of pictures & got some good ideas! (pics from that coming soon!)
We started off by letting Davis pull out the "gook" with his hands, but as you can tell by his face, it grossed him out! ; )
He preferred using a spoon!
Sissy worked really hard on hers...
They used the "shaving method" on hers (we saw lots like these at the SOA contest) on one side and carved "Jesus" on the other side...
When they were all finished...we had to see them all lit up! :)
