Auburn Classic

This weekend, Mackenzie had her last gym meet of the season in Auburn. It was a great meet, close to home, but one catch...the parents put it on, so there was lots & lots of work involved! After being at the meet for 3 straight days, I can happily say..Glad that's over! :)
Mackenzie did great and we were all so proud of her! After an ankle injury on beam Thursday night, I was a little worried that it might hinder her performance. Thankfully her coach was able to tape it up and by the looks of her performance it helped! : )

Meet Scores:

Vault: 9.475 (2nd Place) *Highest score to date!!
Bars: 9.400 (2nd Place) *Highest score to date!!
Beam: 9.700 (2nd Place) *Highest score to date!!
Floor 9.00 (5th Place)
3rd All Around

Fans:
Mommy, Daddy, Davis, MeMaw, MiMi, Mr. Jim, Papa, Ano,
Heather, Dawson, Abbie, & Mrs. Cindy

Thanks to everyone for their love & support for Mackenzie this year!

Saturday night, we watched all her gym meet videos and I'm so amazed at the gymnast she has become. She's so much more stronger and polished looking. She's worked so hard and I am so very proud of her! She was a little embarrased at her first gym meet performances, but a quick reminder and lesson...If you work hard you can achieve any dream. I believe she did that this year!
Oh, Mackenzie, I'm just so happy for you! :)

You have every right to be a proud mama! That smile on her face says it all...gymnastics is her thing! I still say we need to catch one of her meets if y'all are ever around here. Towns McClendon would be in heaven watching her!
