And I think you can tell by that pretty face above that she had a BLAST!!
She had plenty of cheerleaders there to cheer her on!
Thanks to each of you that came to see Mackenzie during her 1st meet. She talked about it all the way home, so I know it meant a lot to her! :) She surely is a loved little girl & for that I am so thankful!!!
Dear Mackenzie,
I can never tell you enough how proud of the little girl that you have grown up to be!
This past weekend you brought tears to my eyes watching you perform your first floor routine. You had my heart beating so fast...I think I felt that same nerves that Mimi felt when I showed in a horseshow! :)
You have worked so hard for this and I can't wait to continue to watch you grow stronger!
Seeing you smile makes it worth the 6 hours a week I spend watching your practice each week!
I love you to the moon & back sweet girl!!!
Love, Mommy

Well my goodness she did have quite the cheering section, didn't she!! That's awesome! I can't wait to see her in action myself. I also can't imagine your nerves - I know how I feel watching Grace and Mags and I'm not their momma. ;) Way to go, Kenziemack, you beautiful little gymnast.
HOW FUN!! Looks like her first meet was quite the success! And can I please tell you that picture either you or Amanda put on FB your two cuties made my heart sort of stop?! Can't quite put my finger on it, but oh my goodness! BTW, a friend of mine's daughter takes gymnastics there. Her name is Emma Kate Thomas - mom is Amy Leigh. She was a Chi O with me at Auburn.
So proud of her!
YAY McKenzie!! Cutie pie for sure-
