So, my creative juices were flowing....

and I went with them!! :) I was in  mid~mop on Wednesday am and had a brain storm...I think we will tell the kiddos that we have a little mini fall vacation planned for them and they will find out by a scavenger hunt. How fun is that?? Okay...I'll fill you in...3 of my dear friends and myself are loading up in the morning with 10 kiddos in tow, what were we thinking, and heading on a little trip to Orlando.  Since the beginning of the summer Mackenzie has been begging to go to the Nick Hotel, so I researched it the moment I found out we were having a fall break & the journey began! There's not much more in the world that makes this mama happier than making my kids happy & today, they were indeed! Have I told you that I love them to pieces? I mean to the moon & back! Enough of my rambling, I will show you their scavenger hunt....

I locked loaded them all in the back of the car & when they were trapped, I got their attention & it was silence as I read their first clue,

*There were 5 more kiddos in the back of my car, too...just not in camera view! HA! :)

Clue #1

We have a great neighbor, we couldn't ask for more,

Run to Taylor's and look on her front door!!!!

I released them and off the ran & at the moment I got to Taylor's and saw them all patiently waiting (that was a rule at the beginning, don't open the clue until everyone is present and they obeyed!) I knew, this was going to be fun, they were into in and were loving it!!! :)



Clue #2

Uncles, aunts, and little cousins are always neat,

especially when the live down the street,

Run to Ano's (Aunt Amy's) and you'll receive a yummy TREAT!

*Ano & Jack greeted us at the door & she acted like she had no idea what they were doing beating knocking on her door!

And if they weren't having enough fun...Ice Cream will always make things better!!!

Clue # 3

You can always find her at Southview in the IMC,

Run to Mrs. Harris' for on her front door your next clue will be!!!

Clue #5

At Martha and Shirley's you'll have a bottle of water and a clue,

Drink up, and run back to Mackenzie's real fast,

We have 4 days planned out for you

that's going to be a blast!!!!

Clue #6

Will We Splish? Or will we Splash??

Or will we ride things really FAST?

You've seen the commercial a 100 times,

don't worry it did cost a bunch of dimes!

You're going on the journey with lots of good friends,

You're going to hope it never ENDS!

Where will it be? Where will it be??

Your clue awaits you so let's go see!!

The journey will be a little far...

Tomorrow is the date the journey will begin,

I know you must have been wondering, When? When?

You must get in bed early and not stay up too late,

Because tomorrow we will be leaving a little before eight!

Here's a little hint,

We hope it will make a dent,

It starts with a O and ends with O

And we will even go and see a few shows!!

Guess what? It doesn't matter if you get wet,

I'm sure you will have a bathing suit, if I had to bet!!

Another hint, another hint, would you please???

I know, I know, we sure like to tease!!!!

So, here you go, here you go...

We will be heading to ORLANDO!!!

On Sunday, we will see all you can see,

at Seaworld we hope you have as much fun as can be!!

And then we will head to the Nickelodeon Resort for fun,

And Splish and splash and soak up the sun!!

On Tuesday, we will have to come home and

I know you will be sad,

but don't ever forget this trip when you get mad!!!

We love yall, we love yall all the way to the moon,

so get ready, get ready, because the fun begins SOON!!!
