Since we spent the last week and 1/2 at the beach, I conviced Mackenzie that we wouldn't have a party this year since we would be at the beach. Suprisingly, she agreed and I am telling you I do beleive that she was more excited about last night than any party we have ever given her. It was almost like she appreciated it more and I am glad. I wanted her also to understand that it is not a necessity to have a big birthday party every year, it wasn't a necessity to buy a fancy cake. This year, it was simple and she loved every. minute. of. it. Yesterday, in the pouring down rain, I ran to Sam's and picked up some stuff for dinner, the last buttercream icing cake (and it was yummy), and brought it home and we celebrated little girls birthday! Happy Birthday sweet girl! We love you to the moon and back and seeing the smile on your precious face makes me happier than anything else in the world! Hope you have a wonderful year as a 7 year old!!!

Sometimes those are the best! And I'm sure you enjoyed it even more too not having to deal with some of the craziness that comes along with having those big parties. Love the pictures from the last post. She's so beautiful!
Happy Birthday, 'Kenzie!
