as I hold back my tears in the past 2 days, Davis got his hair chopped and I literally about cried. I did shout out (well, I didn't shout) to the girl cutting his hair, "You've got to stop, that's enough, it's breakin' my heart!!!) She then replied, "I can't stop, I have to even it up." My heart stopped and then I took a deep breath. It's only hair, it will grow back. But I can't make Davis stop growing, he's growing too fast, I want to hit pause, I want to shout out~ "Slow down sweet boy, you're breaking my heart!" And then there was yesterday. Davis finished another year of preschool. Where does the time go?? It just slips away so fast. I'm not even thinking yet about the fact that my little girl will be in 2nd grade next year! WHAT??? I have a 2nd grader, that just can't be right.
