I cherish. The days that are slow, meaning we didn't get caught up in the hustle and bustle that life brings and we enjoyed every. last. minute. of our weekend. Oh, how I love my weekends, but lately they have been busy. Yesterday, it rained and it rained a lot & it was just what the doctor ordered. It was a day to be lazy and stay home, a day to clean out the winter clothes and stash them away 'til next season, a day to do laundry, a day to listen to the rain and laughter of my kiddos as they run through the house. Ahhh...it was what I needed, I got things marked off my list and it was because it was rainy and we were home. On a sunny day, I would never get those things done, because who wants to be indoors on a sunny weekend??? Today, was a another good day. After church, we headed to the park to splash in the creek and soak up the sunshine with friends. Good conversation, good friends, and perfect weather...now I am sitting here beside two freshly bathed kiddos, listening to Davis tell me how he loves me and that he is my baby, and thinking to myself how blessed I am and thankful for weekends like this. A weekend spent with the ones I love more than anything else in the world...these are the days I cherish!

Oh wow. You just made me cry! Those are exactly the times I live with my family and I wouldn't trade it for the world. Being so busy all the time makes me appreciate our down time more. Wish we had much more of it! And by the way, we LOVE the owls!! I'm obsessed! The funny thing is that the other day I meant to sit down and email you to see if you had an owl you could do for them. Little did I know April was a step ahead of me! Love all the contrasting fabric...such fun colors!
So cute....she's a natural in front of the camera!!
A post I'm working on had the same title as this one so I agree, these ARE the days! :)
Love the pictures of course. Sweet post!
Nothing like a weekend when NOTHING is planned and you can just be a family. Ahhh...
