Finally, he's smiling! Poor baby has had a rough few days...it all started Wednesday night after church, it happened every 45 minutes, and it didn't end until we were admitted into the hospital. Yesterday morning, I called the doctors office to let them know that Davis was still getting sick and couldn't keep anything down, so his doctor (which is also a friend, always helps!) asked me to bring him in, they ruled it as strep which caused gastritis....Who would have thought? I could have sworn it was the stomach virus! She then sent us to the hospital because Davis was dehydrated which was my fear, I knew it, he hasn't been able to keep anything down! Those of you who have never had a sick baby in the hospital and had to go to the whole IV process, be thankful...it is awful. When Davis was a baby, he had to have an iv ( poor thing), it was awful according to his daddy who watched through the window and then had to walk away b/c he couldn't stand watching them stick him anymore, but atleast he got to walk away...yesterday, we both were in there, trying to comfort our sweet boy, as he begged for us to take him home, tears were pouring from my eyes, it was so so hard, but after seeing this smiling face today, it was worth it, those fluids made a world of difference!! When we left to go to the doctor yesterday morning, it was snowing! Can you believe it...snowing in Alabama?? and where were we?? in the hospital. So this morning, after Davis' appointment, he threw a couple of snow balls with his daddy. Thank you God for taking care of our sweet boy and making him well again!!! I love this little boy to pieces and am so thankful to hear his sweet voice talking again and seeing his sweet smiling face!!!

So thankful that sweet baby is better! Mac got dehydrated after having his tonsils taken out. We had to do the whole IV fluids thing and it was NOT fun! But it is amazing how they work! He was a different child leaving the hospital! Glad he's on the mend!!!
