My sister, Haley, got engaged last Sunday and I couldn't be more excited! First of all, for any of you that might think that I can't keep a secret, I CAN...I really can & this is proof, I have known about this for a while & even helped a little with the planning! She was shocked--mostly all of the family was in attendance when they arrived to share the news--she thought she was going to surprise us, but we surprised her & that made my eyes fill up with tears! I have to say...I am smitten over my new brother in law, he is great...great to Haley...but this one steals my heart every time he is around, he adores my kids & nothing makes me happier than when they ask "Where's Matt?" So, Haley was here in Alabama for 2 more days and we packed lots of wedding plans in those 2 days & have finalized a few important things, starting with the date, June 26, 2010 (Happy Birthday to me, but hey, birthdays aren't a big deal anymore when you are OLD). We are so happy for the two of you and love you both so much!
