This past week, we headed home to Selma!! We had a great time and enjoyed every little minute of it!! Mackenzie had a few things on her list that she wanted to while we were home...the 1st thing was to go and see my old house there, she just couldn't remember what it looked like...so when we got home, we rolled down the windows and road on the dirt roads around my old stomping grounds...it was great...brought so many memories back and I enjoyed telling her stories about what I used to do along the way..she soaked up every minute of it and I really believe that she truly enjoyed hearing about it all!! As, I was riding...thoughts went through my head (as always when I go home), man...I really could move back here..it is just that feeling of being home...I love the fact that when we were riding on my old dirt roads, we passed this fella (or lady??)....
Davis was in awe'...."Mama, Big Moo Cows!!" I loved it.....really and truly...growing up there, I didn't appreciate all the little things, but boy do I now...and so wish that my kids could have the same experience!!! We drove a little further to see these guys running through the field....
Gobble! Gobble! We then went to visit Granny and of course, they wanted to give Cole a little snack!! (he looks really malnourished! HA!)
We took rides on the gator and it was just beautiful and saw a few rabbits!!
What a wonderful time at home...there is just something about the little things....Thanks Reesee and Granny! We had lots and lots of fun!! "Be exalted, O God, about the heavens, and Your glory above all the earth." Psalm 108:5
