A few weeks ago, Mackenzie was tested along with everyone in 4th & 5th grade and selected to participate in the Spelling Bee. The first round of the spelling bee began on Tuesday & they narrowed the group down to 20 to compete on Wednesday. She did great and it takes a lot of courage to stand in front of the whole school along with lots of parents and spell difficult words! She definitely takes after me with her spelling knowledge, because her daddy was stumped on several words they called out! hehee!
She had a super cute cheerleader there to cheer her on! ; )
