If I only Knew...

What I do now....I would not Care. One. Bit. This morning, Mackenzie was talking to her daddy on the phone and he told her that he was going to pick her up from school today & her reply was..."Good daddy, but please don't pick up in your work clothes." She is so MY child...it took me back...I DID the SAME thing to my daddy...I would fuss if he picked me up in the carpool line and had the horse trailor or if he had his messy work clothes on...but now I think WHY??? If I could go back and I knew what I do now, I would have cherished every moment with him and loved that he loved to pick us up from school every day no matter how much he loved to embarrass me **please note, I was in 7th grade, into boys...Mackenzie is 6!!** These are the times I cherish of my daddy and oh, to go back and if only he could pick me up somewhere now...I would love every minute of it!!!

A trip to the fire station....

Today, Davis took a trip to the fire station with his preschool class...He listened and soaked in every word, it must be something about big fire trucks and fire men that grabs a boys attention, I don't remember Mackenzie ever getting in it as much as Davis, maybe she did and I can't remember, I DO remember she loved Sparky & surprisingly Brother liked him, too!! : ) Happy Tuesday!

I'm feelin' a lot like this....

like if I could lay my little head down, I would sleep like a baby!!!

Davis fell sound asleep in his high chair the other day while eating his applesauce!

A trip to Tennesseee....

something that I have been doing since I was a little girl and something I hope my kids will grow to love as much as I did! Although, their Aunt Reese often referred to them as "city slickers", they enjoyed every minute of the horse show!! :)
