Out of all the places & things to do in the world...

I wouldn't want to be anywhere or with anyone else on my birthday!! It was a great day, a special day, & a day that I spent with 3 of my favorite people! I woke up to a biscuit with a candle and my 2 angels singing Happy Birthday to me! Does it get any better than that?? We then went the lake & spent the day together & it was a GOOD day!! Thanks for making my day so special!! I love ya'll!!

Swim Lessons

This past week, Mackenzie finished up swim lessons, she learned so much & we are so proud of how hard she worked!! It is amazing to me how much they learn in just a short 2 weeks, I think I could work (& battle her) all summer long, but we would never get to where she is now, mainly because...
she listened so well to her teacher...

Something new...

We've been letting Davis wear big boy underwear..he is actually doing pretty good, I do have to remind him to go to the bathroom, but it's a start & it makes us SMILE to wear Lightning McQueeeeeeeennn! (as Davis says!) :)

Happy Father's Day!!

I have so lucky to have this man in my life...He is the best daddy to our kids, he works so hard to provide for our family, & he is also a very loving husband!!! Thanks daddy for all you do!! We love you, Kenzie & Davis
I was also blessed with the best daddy in the world...not a day goes by that I don't miss his warm smile!! My daddy never met a stranger..he could talk to anyone about anything, loved a good field trial, loved being on the river, allowed me to have some of the best memories showing horses, could embarass me better than anyone, loved some tevas, had the messiest truck around, could be found in a cotton field in the summer time, but most of all was a loving daddy & for that I am thankful!!
I am also so thankful for my heavenly Father who lavishes His love, grace, and mercy upon me every day.

Homemade Popsicles

We carefully poured our fruit punch into each holder....

and we even worked as a team...

We then waited patiently for them to freeze overnight...

....and then today...they were all ready & of course, my little taste testers thought they were yummm- o!
(Davis was covered in red from head to toe..so it must have been good!)


**We purchased the popsicle molds from the dollar bin at Target and filled them with Crystal light Fruit punch!

I'm missing these kids...

Yep....call me crazy, but they have been gone just a few hours & I am already missing them..although I know they would be sound asleep in their beds, but it is just so comforting to know they are just a few steps away! I have said before how I LOVE going in their rooms & watching them sleep...I don't miss a night, they are just too too precious!! I can count on 3 fingers the times I have been away from them for an extended period (which is usually no longer than 4 days), I am one of those moms...I love to have my kids near...real near...like never ever leave them near! HA! I know I will love them more when I return refreshed from my girls weekend at the beach & I know they are in loving care & are eating & drinking way more (junk) than I would ever give them!! Davis was already looking forward to some puddin'!! Kenzie and Davis...be extra sweet & I love you bunches! Kenzie I love you more than.....ressee cups..... !! :) Love, Mommy

Powder Fresh

Lil' Stinker got into the powder after naptime..so some days...we miss the crib!

It's kinda like a...Mini Vacation!!

This weekend, we went & stayed at Uncle Dave's & Aunt Heather's house! It was tons of fun...we always eat lots of yummy things, Mackenzie loves playing with Audrey, Davis played in Mr. Phillips dirt from his garden in just his diaper, & they enjoyed some time in the sprinkler!! Thanks for a great weekend, we enjoyed it!! :)

Celebrating 6 with 6

For Mackenzie's 6th Birthday, we had 6 little girls spend the night!! It turned out to be a fun night and Mackenzie enjoyed having her closest friends over for a little girl time!! Here are some pictures of her big night...
