Beach & a Horseshow

This past weekend, we headed down to Panama City for a little beach time and some good ole' Tennessee walking horses!! It was a fun get-a-way..we ate some yummy food (& the kids had ice cream too), had great weather, and enjoyed both nights at the horse show!

And today he....

peddled for the 1st time on the bike at school... just for a moment!! I think Davis likes the idea of getting there FAST and peddling just doesn't do the job!! Where does the time go?? Just yesterday, I was talking to a friend and we were talking about how little Davis was just last year...and look at him now...he is growing so fast!! If we could just push PAUSE...wouldn't that be great? & FFWD on the bad days! ; )

Weekend Recap

Thursday, we went over to Atlanta and visited with HaHa, who was there for work...we enjoyed our time with her and in our downtime, the kids enjoyed a little swimming!! Thanks HaHa for our invite...we cherish the time we have with you!!! On Friday night, we headed to Montgomery to see Disney on Ice...It was great and both kids really enjoyed it! Mackenzie's favorite part of the night was Mickey Mouse and his friends and Davis loved Cars!!! On Saturday, Daddy and Davis went to the A-day game to scope out the Auburn Tigers and Mackenzie and I headed to the 280 Boogie to meet friends. Earlier in the week, Mackenzie, Madison, Bailey & Blair tied-dyed t-shirts to wear at the Boogie, which we think turned out pretty cute! It has been a jam-packed, but lots of FUN weekend!!

When I grow up...I want to be just like my Daddy!!!

Eggs & a Party

Today, was a jam-packed fun day including decorating & hunting eggs at Uncle Dave & Aunt Heathers and then helping Mason celebrate his 2nd birthday!! Happy 2nd Birthday, Mason! What a blessing to have such a wonderful family and friends...Hope each of you are having a wonderful Easter weekend!!

Preschool Egg Hunt

What a beautiful day to do a little egg huntin' with all my preschool friends....




I think Davis really enjoyed sliding and swinging more than egg huntin' because he left with 4 eggs and a mouth full of tootsie roll! (yep, he was a MESS, but he sure made it look YUMMY!!)

Baby...it's cold outside!

So...Daddy's napping after a long night of work...Kenzie is at Niffer's night for school with her sweet friend Abby...and me and this cutie are inside where it is W-A-R-M!!! Hope each of you are at home snugglin' to keep warm! Happy Monday, friends!

I just knew they could...

play without fighting!! Yep, Mackenzie and Davis rode outside on their bikes for a few minutes while there was no rain...and they did it peacefully!! It seems lately that I have been getting lots of tattle-tailing, fighting, crying, etc. when they play together, but here is proof that they can do it with SMILES!!
P.S. Anyone ready for some sunshine?? We are!!! & I SPOKE TO SOON...HERE THEY COME & THERE IS CRYING!! :)
