"Not A Box" Project

The librarian at Mackenzie's gave the kids the opportunity to transform a box into something of their immagination...Mackenzie wanted a pink castle!! (which is so Mackenzie!!) Here are some pictures of her creating her masterpiece...Davis loved to assist her also & I was so happy when they were making the roof out of jelly beans, Davis was naming some of his colors!! YEHHH, Davis!! Thanks Mrs. Jenny and Mrs. Laura for all your hardwork at preschool--it is shining through!! ( I know that yall need that encouragement too since yall work with 2's all day long!) Great job Kenzer, your castle is gorgeous! :)

AU/TN Tailgate

Davis was totally "sneaky pete" by having this coke in hand!!! hmmm..I guess that is why you can't turn your back for a second to take pictures!!! HA! :)

Not really sure why Kenzie always feels the need to pose with something when I attempt to take her picture!!

I decided this morning that if I wasn't ever going to get around to having Davis' 2 year pictures taken that I better get myself outside and do it myself and here are the results of our growing little 2 year old boy...Happy Wednesday!!!

Well, besides flies...Maggs came in and took her afternoon nap!!! Who knows why she did not want to be outside enjoying this beautiful day, but she came on in the back door that I had opened to get some fresh air.

Mackenzie just sat in the door way and sang, talked, brushed her hair, and relaxed while taking in some fresh air.

Autographs at Academy

Thursday night, I took Davis, Mackenzie, and her friend Laura Tyson to Academy Sports to get some autographs. Thanks to Mattie (Matt is my sister, Haley's boyfriend) who does marketing for Academy in Austin, he is keeping me informed on entertainment that is being held at Academy Sports. Mackenzie and Laura Tyson LOVED the Under Armour bus--I did not have my camera at that moment to get pictures of them on top of the bus--of course, these two little girls made themselves at home in there!! :) Afterwards, we headed to Chick-fil-a for dinner and dessert!!!

Fancy Smancy vs. Hand-me-Down

Davis got the fancy smancy riding bike that makes all kinds of noises for his birthday and this is just proof that a kid doesn't care about all that fancy stuff...He loves his hand-me-down bike Reesee got him at the antique auction and has to keep it inside to ride all through the house every day!! He literally sits on it and watches tv and then zooms back and forth from point a to point b. Thanks Reesee for one of my favorite toys...we have gotten your moneys worth out of this one!! :)
