Looking back in 2008

We have been so blessed in 2008 & for that we are thankful! I never knew I could love like this...but when I look back at pictures thoughout this year, it makes me happy and sad at the same time...we had so much fun, I am so lucky to have what I have, but then I am sad, because I look at these pictures and see how fast time has slipped away and how big my sweet little angels have gotten, I just hope when I am busy & running trying to get everything I think needs to get done...I will remember how fast this year has gone & how fast my babies are growing! May you have a blessed year in 2009! Here's a recap of our year...
We learned how to walk...

We said bye to pap-pap...

We blew out another candle on the cake...

We spent lots of days on the lake...

We pitched a lot of fits...

We started Kindergarten...

We ate lots of yummy things...

We have the best family in the world...

We watched baby Will grow in Ano's tummy...

These sweet little feet have gotten so big...

Gretta made sure no squirrels entered our yard...

Davis fell in love with this bike...

We had lots of smiles..

because we did lots of silly things...

We enjoyed days at the farm with some of our best friends...

We cheered on the Tigers (Davis hearts some Auburn football), but Davis never braved up to give Aubie a hug..maybe he will in '09!

We welcomed baby Will...

Mackenzie is building friendships that will last forever...

The leaves were so beautiful this fall & were the perfect bed for Maggie...

We have had lots of giggles...

and may you have lots of giggles throughout this new year!! Happy New Year!

Christmas Eve

I love Christmas Eve!! When Kenzie was little, we started our own family tradition, we start the evening off by heading to our church for the candlelight service (this year it was wonderful...Tim always has such a great message & it was great as usual), afterwards, we came home and ate dinner and decorated sugar cookies for Santa..Mackenzie and Davis each picked out a cookie to place on Santa's plate with his milk.. we then headed outside to put the food out for Santa's reindeer...
We let Mackenzie and Davis open 1 present each, which by the way, Davis totally understands the whole present thing & just LOVES it!
and to our dear HaHa, who we wish and pray on a daily basis that you would move closer to home, you were WONDERFUL help to have around! Each morning, both kids would wake up and wonder where HaHa & Matt were...sometimes, we would get the "y--a--l--l Awake" wake up call from Kenzie! HaHa, we miss you already..thanks for being such wonderful help while you were here...you surely did win over Davis & you know you already had Kenzie! We love you bunches & bunches!

Christmas with Ano & Woof-Woof

Here are a few pictures of our Christmas with Ano & Woof-Woof(Amy and Jarrod)...as you can see, we had a great time...Ano slaved away and made homemade sugar cookies; which turned out to be a cookie decorating contest (secretly, Amy LOVES a competition).. my vote went to Kenzie and her cute Rudolph cookie! :)

Christmas in Selma-town

We went to Selma and had Christmas with the Justice family & it was lots of fun being "home". I love spending time with all of them...it is great to have my granny...she is so special to me. I am so thankful for her and that Mackenzie and Davis have her as their great granny! Thanks everyone for all the sweet gifts to the kiddos--they love everything! What a blessing it is to be a part of such a wonderful family!! Jan and Larry, the new house is just beautiful & we look forward to coming down this spring to spend some time on the river..Amy & Zeb, we are so happy for the two of you and are looking forward to next Christmas with your sweet little one!
